Proposed Solution
The solution from HEULE is the simple and efficient SNAP Chamfering tool. Without the need for turning the workpiece nor stopping the spindle it frees the bore edges from burrs and provides them with a chamfer. SNAP is distinguished by an incredibly simple and fast blade change done by hand and without any tools.
To chamfer the front and the back of the bore in one operation a standard SNAP5/Ø7.5 tool with a working length of 41.5 mm is in use. However, a the blade geometry has been customized in order to minimize the secondary burrs.
Machining parameters:
Working speed 1500 rpm, Cutting speed vc 40 m/min.
Working feed 0.1 mm/rev.
