The solution of HEULE is the simple and efficient SNAP tool. Without requiring to turn the tool or to stop the spindle, it deburrs the bore edges and applies a chamfer at the same time.
To deburr the back bore a SNAP2/2.0 tool with a customized working length of 10mm is used.
Machining parameters:
Working speed: 7200 rev/min
Working feed: 0.03 mm/rev
Coolant: emulsion

Up to now, a deburr fork was used for the back deburring of the cross bore. By using the HEULE SNAP2 tool:
- the process time has been halved (new: 4.3s from tool change to tool change)
- the reliability of the process has been increased and
- the deburr quality has been improved remarkably.
