A subcontractor to the German automotive industry was looking for a tool to deburr the joint bores that allowed an automated process. To do this job by hand, was no option for the customer. An alternative production method would have been circular milling. However, since the milling center could not proceed in 3D ways, this method was not possible, too.

Deburring is the largest portion of the machining of the workpiece. Due to large production volume, it is important to the customer that this operation runs reliably and manual post-control.
