The customer was looking for an automated solution to make the deburring process more reliable and efficient. Previously, three staff members manually deburred the front and back edges of the bores with carbide blades.

Solution

HEULE recommended a COFA tool for front and back bore deburring in one single pass. Manual deburring was completely eliminated. Process time was reduced from 90 minutes to 20 minutes per part.
