2018 commemorates the 30th anniversary of our first subsidiary, HEULE Tool Corporation (HTC), which was established in 1988 in the U.S. to serve our customers in North America. The office was first established in West Plymouth, MI, but was later moved to Cincinnati, OH.
HTC celebrated the anniversary by inviting local sales agents, distributors, customers, government officials, business partners, friends and family to an open house and pig roast where they toasted to a prosperous and successful 30 years of business in North America. Attending the event from Switzerland were Ulf Heule and Christoph Keel. As part of the festivities, Ulf Heule and Gary Brown planted a tree on the grounds of the HTC office.
“Our customers in North America appreciate the high-quality product that the Swiss make,” said HTC President Gary Brown, speaking at the open house. Brown, who has been leading HTC for 29 of the 30 years, recognized the contributions of Heinrich Heule in first establishing HEULE Werkzeug AG. “We couldn’t be here without you,” Brown said.
Ulf Heule also spoke at the event, thanking HTC employees for their hard work in making HEULE successful in North America. “Today HTC is an important part of the HEULE group,” he said.
HTC and their guests celebrated with a wine toast with wine from the Sonoma region of California, custom-labeled for the 30th Anniversary. Ulf Heule and Gary Brown were presented with special engraved bottles of wine as a thank-you gift for their contributions to HTC’s success in North America.
