A renown German gear manufacturer was looking for a solution to increase the efficiency of the deburring process of the bores of a planetary carrier. There are two version, one with 6 bores (3 x 2 bores in a row) or 8 bores (4 x 2 bores in a row).

HEULE proposed its COFA deburring tool C12-O-1027 with blade C-12-M-0006-A.

Machining parameters:

  • Speed: 1000 rev/min.
  • Feed: 0.2 mm/rev.
  • Coolant: dry machining

Due to the reduced stability of the robot, the speed had to be reduced to 350 rev/min.
